The world’s largest technology trade event enters its final day today with notable innovations and tech news announcements highlighted on Day 4. Let’s take a quick walk through the main events.

Dubai Internet City to welcome Intel’s first Al software R&D center in the GCC

Dubai Internet City, a member of TECOM Group PJSC and regional business and technology hub, announced that its newest artificial intelligence software research and development center will be helmed by Intel. The first of its kind in the GCC, the research center will help to advance the capabilities of Intel’s leading artificial intelligence software solutions.

The Middle East region is undergoing major digital transformations. Intel and the center will collaborate closely with the artificial intelligence and software businesses in Dubai, connecting with the wider region to pursue partnerships. They’ll also create a robust knowledge-sharing platform on the latest AI trends, technologies, and solutions.

Intel will use its experience and industry knowledge to support cutting-edge AI products and services for Intel’s AI portfolio. The center will work closely with the academic community to build a strong talent pool for future products and discoveries, benefiting from Dubai Internet City’s proximity to both Dubai Knowledge Park and Dubai International Academic City. Intel will also relocate AI experts from various global offices to bring international tech talent and skills into the mix.

Dubai Internet City is the cornerstone of the U.A.E.’s economic and technological growth for more than 20 years now. Home to Fortune 500 companies, SMEs, startups, and entrepreneurs, the business district also contains 15 innovation centers that allow customers to establish specialized technological solutions for the region and better meet the needs of local governments and businesses around the world.

D-Link supports lifestyle by delivering intelligent, strong network connections to households

D-Link’s most recent technologies are intelligent and strong, making sure that complicated bandwidth-intensive applications don’t slow down your network. D-Link also discussed the three product development methods for developing breakthroughs in today’s digital revolution. One of these is Al technology, which the company uses for identifying network issues and adjusting accordingly. D-Link Green strives to be environmentally friendly by meeting all corporate responsibility goals, satisfying the goal of creating a beneficial ecosystem of networking equipment that meets the Made In Taiwan (MIT) standard.

The Al Traffic Optimizer prioritizes and assigns bandwidth to different apps automatically, providing users with information about devices creating congestion. The Al Assistant collects actionable data to keep users informed about network quality, and Al Parental Control offers parents more control of their children’s online activity. EAGLE PRO AI has a Speed Test integrated app that evaluates internet speed, Health Mode to manage sleep patterns and Voice compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
